As you can see this update was obviously based on real experiences. That's why it's a lot more gritty and realistic than most of my other updates.

I would like to apologize to Tom "Moof" Davies for slightly aping his art style for the bear illustration. Cartoony illustrations really don't come natural to me. I would like to also apologize everyone else I stole from in my life, including the humpback whales. I know you guys work hard to produce your songs, so I shouldn't download them illegally.

For those of you thinking I neglected my duties Friday, let it be known that I neglected my duties Friday because I was devoid of the Internet. I'd like to thank the knuckleheads at Comcast for supplying me a crappy modem to replace my crappy modem, then taking two days to get me a replacement. Good going. I also like the fact that their tier 2 tech support generously gave themselves a 72 hour window in which they would get back to me. I love working my schedule around tech support calling me, so this was really a win-win situation for everyone. It was so refreshing to wait a whole day and then some to get that call from them and hear them say, "we can't fix the problem, so we're sending a technician out." It was such a feeling of vindication.

In this modern age of people working on the internet, going to school on the internet, replacing traditional phone lines with voice over IP phone service, it's wonderful to see a company not giving in to irrational consumer needs by providing timely resolution to potentially financially taxing problems. God bless you Comcast, the cheaper of the two lousy choices for broadband Internet service available to me.
