I did some benchmarks on my computar systaem machene before and aftar Direct X was intalled too see what a performance hat it took and boy are teh results a bouqet of resultS!!!
TIME IT TOOK TOO START UP TEH COMPUTAR MACHENE (BEFORE DIRECTLY X): 47 seconds
AFTER IT TOOK TIME TOO START UP TEH MACHENE (AFTAR DIRECT X): 49 seconds!!!
this shows that Direct X maeks yuor computar slowar too load becuase it isant coded vary good at all! THEY TAKE CODEING LESSONS FROM LITHTECH I THINK!! because teh codars at Lithtech just keep addeing in new code and more and more new code and more code because theyre afraid to deletes any old code because JASON HALL WILL CRUSH THEM IF HE SENSES INCOMPOTENSE!!! RAARRRRRRRRRR!!! Jason Hall si SUPAR MUSCALES and evary time he blinks it creates a HURRICANE OF DESTRUCTIAN! so dont displease Jason Hall by deleteing code from Lithtech v.12.50 or hell smashes yuor head liek SOUP/
But whiel haveing alots of code is good for Jason Hall because he sells Lithtech for $1.00 per line of Code (that's why it costs $350,000,000 dollars), but its not good for usars because yuo need a Petium 9 too run it with textares that dont look liek orange puke. Same thing with Direct X I guess!

TIME TOO LOAD IRQ (AFTAR DIRECT X): 5 seconds
not much of a change hear because IRQ dosent uses Direct X it uses FLASH I think.
I looked on teh forams at HardCOP and they uses 3D Mark 2000 but I dont haev that program or know Mark so I ran simultaed benchmarks for what I thought teh Direct X 8 might get:
3D MARK 2000 WITHOUT DIRECT X 8: 28367 gigateggals
3D MARK 2000 WITH DIRECT X 8: 13 bits per CPU
3D MARK 2000 WITH DIRECT X 8 and BUMPMAKING: 462 Metatarsals
3D MARK 2000 WITH WATER LAUNCHER AND DIRECT X 8: 10293 kilohurts
As yuo can see by thes stats I dont know what yuo can see by these stats, I guess I need to buy Mark and his software because I dont know what any of that crazzey stuff means.
