Merge into Korimôn Straps main article

This article should be merged with theKorimôn Strapsmain article. Most of the information contained in this article is superfluous and could be one of the sections of the aforementioned article.Wikidkid06:58, 30 April 2006 (UTC)

Um no there is already articles forBolo StrapsandHyper Strapsand Thunder Straps are the main quest strap for the entire 4th season and the Key Straps forKorimôn Dolemite. If Bolo Straps have their own article then Thunder Straps should.Yummi14:37, 2 May 2006 (UTC)
This isn't a case of "this got one so this gets one", maybe all of those should be merged into the main straps article. I don't think you understand how Wikipedia works. Checkyour talk page, I sent you some pointers on how it works. You can thank me there. I'd like to hear some discussion from some other people and then I'm going to go ahead and merge it.Wikidkid14:43, 2 May 2006 (UTC)
I see no pressing reason to merge it with the Korimôn Straps main article. This does need to be cleaned up, but other than that it seems fine to me.WikiLord20:07, 2 May 2006 (UTC)
Fair enough. I'll work on cleaning it up.Wikidkid20:10, 2 May 2006 (UTC)

Um can you stop reverting my changes Im trying to clean it up like he said toYummi15:06, 3 May 2006 (UTC)

I explained the reverts to you on your personal talk page. We can discuss it further there but lets try to keep this Talk section clean.Wikidkid15:12, 3 May 2006 (UTC)

Romanization issues

Hi I am pretty new here but I have noticed that there seems to be some conflict over the way the straps are named in English. Thunder Straps are actually called Cor-rashu Storapu (衝突の革紐) in the Japanese and I think this is the source of the confusion. I don't know if it should be changed but there should at least be some reference to it in the article. Maybe add a redirect for people searching for the correct Romanization. No big deal, just looking for some input and want to make it as good as possible.StrapMaster04:02, 6 May 2006 (UTC)

Hi and welcome to Wikipedia! I added some helpful tips on yourpersonal talk pageif you would like to discuss this issue further. Unless you cite sources I can't really take your word that it is worth it to include a redirect here for right now and I went ahead and deleted your redirect. If you have any questions we can talk about it on your personal talk page.Wikidkid20:10, 6 May 2006 (UTC)
Hello. I am Shinchiro Watanabe. I am the creator of Cor-rashu Storapu where here you call it Thunder Straps. Both terms are correct and so should be mentioned on this page. I hope this helps. If needed you can reach me at my office at 888-443-9322. If I am not in my secretary can assist you. I apologize if my English is not perfect, but I am learning. Thank you for your patience and your website is very interesting. - AnonymousThe preceding unsigned comment was added by13.44.444.44(talk•contribs) 03:43, 7 May 2006 (UTC).
Hi and welcome to Wikipedia! You need to use four tildas (~~~~) to sign your posts. Unfortunately, we do not accept original research so unless you can more accurately source your suggestions using peer-reviewed sources they will remain as-is. If you need any help, feel free to leave me a message on mytalk page.Wikidkid03:49, 7 May 2006 (UTC)
I just called the number and that's really him. That is so awesome. Thanks for the shirt dude, I'll be looking for it.StrapMaster11:33, 9 May 2006 (UTC)
Hi, I reverted your changes. Your original research is not welcome. I added some information to your talk page that should help out. I know it can be hard when you're just getting started and everything can seem confusing and overwhelming, but you'll figure things out eventually. I'll keep an eye on your talk page for any questions you might have. Also please try to maintain aNPOVin all discussions relating to the topic.Wikidkid11:40, 9 May 2006 (UTC)

Oh for Heaven's sake, Ian. Stop bullying people over this stuff. It's childish.WikiKatt08:16, 10 May 2006 (UTC)

Hi, this material is inappropriate for the discussion page which is something you do not seem to understand. If you wish to discuss it further I will be carefully watching yourtalk page. Please do not vandalize this talk page. I will leave your entry out of respect for what we once shared.Wikidkid08:18, 10 May 2006 (UTC)

Vandalism removed

There has been a series of incorrect reverts and bad edits recently and I am really disappointed with the willingness of several of the editors to ignore the hard work of their fellow editors. Specifically, I reverted a change someone else had made to the following:

The impression is given that Thunder Straps are supernatural in nature, though this is never proven during the course of the show.

This was later edited to the following:

Terripanizzimakes Thunder Straps from the Dolemite gems inSpire Canyonand gives them magical powers by capturing theWild Crashbangsat the mountain tops.

This is just one example of many, but clearly this new information did not just manifest itself from thin air. Someone, and I won't name names, edited this in place of mine despite the fact that they had no citation or link added to the sources section. This is simply unacceptable and I will continue to methodically revert edits until those of you who insist on this baseless speculation and unsourced editing finally get the message.Wikidkid02:20, 11 September 2006 (UTC)

Hey man, that was my change. Sorry I didn't cite properly, but it was from Episode 28 from season 4. "Crystal Craze". I re-added it with the citation.StrapMaster06:55, 13 September 2006 (UTC)

Hi, thanks, you still have not cited it properly. There is athorough guideon proper citations which I edit. It should help you a lot. Unfortunately, the rules just changed and you can no longer cite episodes of TV shows unless the salient facts are described in a verifiable source like IMDB or TVtome.com. Check around, you may be able to find something out there.Wikidkid06:59, 13 September 2006 (UTC)

Um what is your problem man? I just added a bunch of info from the online guide and you reverted it all.Yummi15:01, 18 September 2006 (UTC)

Image removed (fair use issues)

I don't know how many times I am going to have to explain thecopyright and fair use of imagespolicy here at Wikipedia before some of you learn how to properly follow the rules. I have once again removed the copyrighted image ofHoorikunfrom the page and replaced it with my own pen drawing of the Thunder Straps being worn byFubuchu. Please do not revert this edit.Wikidkid06:44, 17 October 2006 (UTC)

That's bullcrap and you know it. The Hoorikun image perfectly followed the fair use rules. I don't know what you're problem is but this is the one article I try to stay on top of and you seem obsessed with making my life hard. Why do you hate me?StrapMaster06:55, 17 October 2006 (UTC)
First off, it's "your" not "you're", which is a contraction of "you" and "are". That aside, it's nothing personal and you should really try not to get so worked up. It reflects poorly on your ability to maintain a neutral point of view in these discussions. I reviewed your Hoorikun image and removed it because of our new policy regarding fair use of copyrighted images. If you had bothered to re-read the talk section of the article I linked to you would have seen that several of us involved in theWikipedia 1.0project have decided to begin replacing copyrighted images with fully authorized original material. I don't blame you for the confusion, just try to control your temper.Wikidkid06:58, 17 October 2006 (UTC)
Um I took a picture of my Hoorikun figure wearing the Thunder Straps with my digital camera and uploaded that and it has been put back to the crappy pen drawing of Fubuchu. Can you tell me why?Yummi14:39, 22 October 2006 (UTC)
Quite simple. You neglected to follow the correct process for tagging an image. There is no way to verify that you are the creator of the image and therefore we must assume, for the sake of theWikipedia 1.0project, that you may have gotten this image elsewhere. Also, your determination of my own original artwork as "crappy" is very poor neutrality. It conveys the design of the Thunder Straps adequately based on the source material. If you have any other questions I have started yet another section on youruser page.Let me know if I can do anything else to help you avoid further mistakes.Wikidkid14:45, 22 October 2006 (UTC)

GA failing

This article is definitely not FA anymore and is going to lose its GA status soon. I have already revoked the suggestion for inclusion inWikipedia 1.0after a lengthy discussion with the top inner-circle of wikipedia editors. Most of you refuse to respect the other editors who are more versed in the quality demands of wikipedia. Stop adding new sections to Thunder Straps, stop moving paragraphs around, proof read your work before adding it to the article. These are really horrid and, frankly, I'm disgusted beyond words by the whole mess this once-useful article has become.Wikidkid18:55, 1 December 2006 (UTC)

Um I have worked really hard at improving my editing work and I have taken pointers from a lot of people. I don't know what your problem is but I have not disrespected any of the other editors. I posted a message to you on yourtalk pageif you want to talk about it some more. We can resolve it.Yummi23:03, 1 December 2006 (UTC)
Um, more like UGH. This is EXACTLY what I'm talking about. You act like nothing is wrong with the way you are repeatedly and wantonly defacing this article and then you have the temerity to add a message to MY talk page? Um, as you so love to say, REVERTED. Hello. Your edits are crap, you will never have the skill to be a top editor like me. You will never be able to make it onto theWikipedia 1.0project staff and...guess what? GA revoked. No longer inlcuded.Wikidkid23:09, 1 December 2006 (UTC)
Um that doesn't seem fair.Yummi01:06, 2 December 2006 (UTC)
Fair? FAIR? You want to talk to me about fair? Fair is having this article merged with the other m$$#^#@king straps articles way back in April when it needed to be done. Fair is NEWBIES who listen to people like me with the experience to properly edit and format a wikipedia entry. Fair is this being dumped back down to GA because it is completely unstable.Wikidkid23:09, 1 December 2006 (UTC)
Ian, you want to talk about fair? Fair is being willing to let something go. We never even met IRL and you still call my parent's house almost every day. I moved out of there six months ago and went back to school. Are you still sitting in your mom's basement? Still getting disability from WalMart for that carpal tunnel you got working the register? Still really into "pegging"? Leave these f$#%ing kids alone and stop taking your impotence out on them.WikiKatt11:32, 2 December 2006 (UTC)
That's how you want to play it Charlene? If you're so upset over the way I see fit to do my job then why don't you take it up with Bryce? Last I heard he has made it all the way up to being the editor for bodies of water inclusion onWikipedia 1.0. Oooh, how impressive! I'm being sarcastic, Charlene. How many pages is he senior editor on? 20 maybe? 30 tops? He claims to have aspergers but I bet it isn't even half as good as mine. I've swatted more sockpuppets than he has even encountered.Wikidkid11:33, 2 December 2006 (UTC)
Listen to yourself, Ian! Bryce and I are just friends and he has almost twice as many stars as you. Besides, I didn't even leave you, we never met. You started stalking me on IM. And "job"? Your job is not editing wikipedia and taking out your life failures on Yummi.WikiKatt11:32, 2 December 2006 (UTC)
Um please leave me out of this part I just want to edit Thunder Straps and do a good job.Yummi11:33, 2 December 2006 (UTC)
Ian this is totally out of line. I intend to bring all of this behavior up at the next IRC meeting forWikipedia 1.0. We'll see howPatsypediareacts to all of this behavior in the geography sub-meeting. I think you might want to apologize to Charlene and myself and then maybe think about how your jeopardizing your position here.Bryce4D11:39, 2 December 2006 (UTC)
Bryce, Bryce, Bryce. Heh. First of all, it's "you're" not "your", as in the contraction of "you" and "are". Like "you're overstepping your bounds here, Bryce". I'm just looking out for what is best for Wikipedia and that's obviously been ignored by a certain group of ingrates whose names I won't name here. Your message to me here is wholly inappropriate as was Charlene's and do not reflect trueNPOV.But really, what sort of behavior would one really expect from someone who has been registered for less than a year and has had his user page for less than ten months. I have been here since early 2004, Bryce. I know the ins and outs. I know the right people. I tell you this, I will merge this page on Thunder Straps back into the main Korimôn Straps article. Not because I'm better or smarter than you, which I am, but because it's the right thing to do for Wikipedia. If you care more about some personal conflict than you care about Wikipedia, well, that's your choice. But remember, it's going to be seen as such by everyone at the meeting. Then we'll see who has the last laugh. Then we'll see.Wikidkid11:45, 2 December 2006 (UTC)

I'm going to kill myself withOxycodoneif you don't restore this article to GA status.StrapMaster02:03, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
