At Hosanna1, a Web site built by tacky obsessive dog breeders for tacky obsessive dog lovers, hyperlinks crowd the page like puppy-shit piles in a grossly overfertilized lawn, while flitting animated butterflies give jumpy mutts a reason to bat the screen. The inclusion of a winged, haloed canine doesn't convey "our pets are angels" so much as "our dogs are dead." Hosanna1 is apparently well regarded among animals who use computers, because it displays a Great Site Award that couldn't possibly have come from human hands.
