Lead & Secure was one of the most popular real time strategy games of the mid-1990s. The game used branching campaigns for each faction, the World Defense Armada and the terrorist group Thud, to tell the story of the First Neutrillium War. Mission 9 for the WDA, titled "Darkest Fears", was one of the most difficult missions in the game. The player was given a single flame tank and was tasked with uncovering a neutrillium conspiracy.
