Joining Wayne Rooney and El Hadji Diouf on the list of SA-immortalized international sports figures is Kingsley, a bizarre sun-headed mascot created by artist David Shrigley for the Glasgow-based football club Partick Thistle. (Thanks for the memories, previous team mascots Jaggy MacBee and Pee Tee the Toucan!)
