The BACA Boys Lounge, submitted by Otakular. Oh-hoho-ho! The BACA Boys are a cosplaying TEAM! And they have their own website!
Feel free to come in and stay a while; we always love guests! For those of you who are not familiar with who we are, we are a group of four free-spirited college guys who are living life to it's fullest. We are a group of Cosplayers, a Band, and friends from Northern California. This site is dedicated to our friends and those who care to get to know us. We hope you enjoy yourself and find what you came to see!
I'd like to take a moment to quote the movie "The Thin Red Line", because I feel a quote from that film perfectly describes my reaction to this site and many other cosplay sites.
What is this great evil? How did it steal into the world? From what seed, what root did it spring? Who's doing this? Who's killing us? Robbing us of light and life. Mocking us with the sight of what we might have known.
Okay, everything but that part at the end about the "sight of what we might have known". Cosplay definitely mocks us, and it's with sight, but it's more of "what we have become".
Sometimes I dream that I'm sitting in the back of the defunct Weinermobile as it careens driverless down the highway. At first I thought this was symbolic of the powerlessness I feel in life, but then I realized it's actually the Weinermobile's dream of being able to drive again.
Three years ago, when we were burying my uncle, Cleaver and some gross lady dog (Solstice???) showed up at the cemetery and starting going at it really loudly. It ruined everything and we had to have a "re-do" the next day and it cost a fortune. I've hated him ever since for that.
Ignore the hype. Find out how these games will likely go right or wrong.
Doing some reps on the water bottle huh. I prefer bench press myself. Just kidding - stay hydrated.
Awful Links of the Day spotlights the worst and weirdest websites on the internet. And we're not talking "weird" in a good way either.
