Dub This!
Dub This!, submitted by Son of Wenus.
The Mary Worth of web comics devoted to college anime clubs. It is framed by inane blog entries that ooze Japanese words like flop sweat at a gaijin karaoke bar in Shinjuku. The grotesque attempt to emulate the anime style ends up making all of the characters look like some unknown breed of hydrocephalic foxes in prophile and pie-faced insects the rest of the time. I know it's easy to make fun of anime heads, but come on:
The comic contains no jokes, but archives hint at a no-doubt gripping series of story arcs about awkward social situations and an unwillingness to profess crushes on impossibly understanding girls at the anime club.
If you're looking for a gift for that special someone, be sure to check out the Dub This! store. Which sells something that could easily be the most all-encompassingly lame gift for Valentines Day in human history.
