Every once in a while, mysterious eccentrics start threads on the SA Forums, captivating the community with their erratic behavior before everyone tires of them (this usually takes like a day, tops) and they're banished. This is not such a case (except the 'banished' part). Sponrad, who had posted for seven years without particular distinction, made a spectacularly ill-advised opening gambit, got banned for his effort, and never returned. Some photogenic Goons salvaged the thread for a while, and then its true redeemer emerged, summoned from the watery depths!
