The Mick's Lost Letters
A letter supposedly from Mickey Mantle recently surfaced over at Snopes, the myth-busting website. The letter is supposedly intended for the Yankee's head office and covers the Mick's favorite experience at Yankee Stadium. I have reproduced the original letter here in case Snopes can't handle the bandwidth usage.
The 1973 Letter
As shocking as an American baseball legend talking about blowjobs might be, nothing prepared me for the four letters Mantle had sent to the Yankee's head office during the previous four seasons. I was lucky enough to have them emailed to me by a huge Yankee fan and sports memorabilia buff.
