In these tough economic times, people must do whatever it takes to cut costs, whether that means finding corporate partners for their creative endeavors or reusing introductory phrases from past articles on a comedy website. Product placement occurs regularly in modern films, but only a few movies have taken this practice to an extreme, and for the most part those were either self-aware documentaries or defining satirical works of the past decade. Forums poster I Might Be Adam, who might be Adam Schlesinger of Fountains of Wayne/Josie and the Pussycats soundtrack fame, decided to push art/commerce synergy to its limits, and the SA Goons followed suit.
