There's trouble at The Border. Popular Pepsi retailer and Super Bowl advertiser Taco Bell has been struck with a class-action lawsuit by a law firm in Alabama. According to the lawsuit, Taco Bell's taco ground beef is not all the restaurant claims and may actually contain less than 40% ground beef. If true, this counterfeit cattle puts taco bell's beef outside of the legal definition of beef. What is it really? Taco Bell has quickly responded by lifting the curtain and showing consumers the exact contents of some of its most-popular menu items. The truth isn't necessarily pretty.
