BAD EXPERIENCE. Fell victim to the classic bait and switch con. Thought I was ordering a regular child-size bathysphere, got taken for a ride. What the hell is this thing? It's not watertight and could hardly handle even modest pressure. Our infant son barely escaped with his life.

If a product isn't what I immediately assume it to be at first glance, SkyMall really needs to print a warning. Like, hello, how was I supposed to know this was a toilet for a cat. It looked like an amazing oven from the future and that's the only reason I ordered it. I put a chicken in there expecting a delicious meal and it was still cold and raw a few hours later. Am I supposed to feed my children raw chicken? They'll get salmonella, you idiots. I check the box and see a diagram of a cat doing its business? That just confused me more. Finally someone tells me it's a cat toilet. Great. NOT WHAT I ORDERED. I'll take my oven now.

saw this online and ordered it immediately thinking it was a home cremator. let me save you some time: it's not. It's some kind of centrifuge for separating cat dung from cats. Would have loved to know that before I went the trouble of buying it and loading it up, only to find it does not cremate anything.

PROS: Looks good -- interesting design.

CONS: Plays fast and loose with Three Laws of Robotics. I personally witnessed it operating with a cat inside, allowing harm to come to it. The cat was showered violently in its own waste products before being deposited into a tiny drawer of filth. The cat is now terrified of enclosed spaces. The robot has been rocking back in forth ever since, almost like its pleased with itself.

I thought this was a diving helmet, trying to get a refund now since it is obviously not going to keep me from drowning and I have an important appointment with the sea tomorrow at 7pm sharp. Can't reschedule again.

If you read my review of the Retractable Hose Reel (item Frontage 47939) you know "2001 Space Odysseys" is my favorite film. When I saw this product, I fell in love with the design because of its uncanny resemblance to the EVA pods from that movie. Was horrified to find out it's not a movie replica and just a weird sphere for cats to defecate in. I don't own a cat, and I don't want a drawer full of cat s***. No thank you. First bad experience from SkyMall, hopefully my last.

Love it. Previously had the cat do its business in a complicated Rube Goldberg Machine that took about eight hours to set up. The Litter Robot really simplifies things by just having a robot swash the waste around for a few minutes and then put it in a drawer. Seems more natural and it so obvious I feel stupid for setting up our previous litter box contraption over and over again for all those years.

Good grief, was this thing designed by ALF from the television series ALF? Because it looks out of this world and seems to feed on cats. We've lost between 3 and 4 cats to this beast already, and its appetite isn't slowing down. Having trouble securing more cats and don't really know what the end game is here.

DO NOT BUY THIS. IF you do you are perpetrating a crime. This product infringes on several patents I own and do not license. I was the first person in the world to think up a robot that collects cat feces and puts it in a drawer. I patented the idea in 1974. This product will soon be unavailable and its makers will be bankrupt. My robot will also work with any drawer in your house so if you want to have cat feces in your dresser or kitchen drawers it can do that for you.
