Maturation (thanks Mailbox Roleplay) - I will not attempt to stumble through a description of Maturation since I'm still more than a little bewildered that it even exists. I'll let the site speak for itself:
Welcome to Maturation. A Different kind of Darkwing Duck Site. Here you're not going to find Screen grabs and Character shrines. Maturation is a Webcomic about a darker Future for St. Canard. Here the fearsome five are far more vicious, far darker and far more twisted then they were in the show. This site is not for the faint of heart or people with out an open mind. Site contains strong language, graphic violence, adult art, slash and more.
You feel that cold ball of ice that just formed in your stomach? That's apprehension. That burning ice in your gut is there to warn you to stop reading. Close the browser. Hit back. Don't do this to your childhood.
Ah, well, nostalgia is overrated.
I can only identify a few of the characters and I consider that a small blessing. Why someone would put the time and effort into creating an ultra-violent serious Darkwing Duck comic is one of life's little terrible mysteries. Like a child crying in a dark room or a dog on a leash held by a dead man.
Sometimes I dream that I'm sitting in the back of the defunct Weinermobile as it careens driverless down the highway. At first I thought this was symbolic of the powerlessness I feel in life, but then I realized it's actually the Weinermobile's dream of being able to drive again.
Three years ago, when we were burying my uncle, Cleaver and some gross lady dog (Solstice???) showed up at the cemetery and starting going at it really loudly. It ruined everything and we had to have a "re-do" the next day and it cost a fortune. I've hated him ever since for that.
Ignore the hype. Find out how these games will likely go right or wrong.
Awful Links of the Day spotlights the worst and weirdest websites on the internet. And we're not talking "weird" in a good way either.
