Black Snow Comic (Thanks, Murderface!)

Black Snow alternately bills itself as "the world's first Web comic book" and "the world's greatest Web comic book." The only way the latter claim could be technically true is if Black Snow were "the world's only Web comic book."

Michael Balistreri handles the crude drawings, while Alex Siquig stuffs speech balloons with giant bricks of dialogue. The characters' faces vary wildly from panel to panel, as do the typefaces: The only constant is unrelenting ugliness. The pair maintains a self-deprecating tone, as if to say "we could have done better, but we wanted to be wacky!" Their acknowledgement of Black Snow's shittiness proves they're not delusional, but it doesn't make it any easier to read.
