In the song "You Were Right," Built to Spill's Doug Martsch reaffirms what various other lyricists have written throughout the rock era, from "manic depression's a frustrating mess" to "all we are is the dust in the wind." Basically, pretty much every songwriter turns out to have been right, except Bob Marley, who's repeatedly denounced as wrong. It's a provocative theory, but we won't get into it here, because while it tangentially relates to this week's "Right/Wrong" theme, the SA Forum Goons have made movie things instead of music things. Enjoy!
That Ignorant Sap
I'm haunted by a recurring vision of a skeleton flipping me off. To avoid seeing this terrifying image in bumper sticker form, I pay someone with a blank bumper to drive in front of me at all times.
Cons: causes bad nightmares. I used to have to eat beef until I passed out to have these kind of terrors, but this machine does it for me every time I fall asleep inside it.
Photoshop Phriday showcases the tremendous image manipulation talents of the Something Awful Forum Goons. Each week they tackle a new theme, parodying movies, video games, comics, history, and anything else you can think of. If you want in on the action, join us on the Something Awful Forums!
