The Comic Stylings of Daniel J. Geduld, submitted by FYAD. Voice impersonators are never funny. At all. Ever. Save for a few morning radio shows that still somehow think having a guy that sounds like Popeye prank calling Popeye's Chicken is great stuff, they've been steadily declining in popularity since the early 90s. Just think about how little you've heard Dave Coulier doing that Bullwinkle impression in the past 10 years, and then think about how much you heard it the 10 before that. Pretty good change of pace if you ask me. Recently though, one man has dared to go where no comedian has gone for years and is trying to revive the mostly skeletal remains of voice impersonation humor. That man is Daniel J. Geduld.
His set consists mostly of material adapted from the infamous "!!!!FUNNY SH!T!!! kermit n bigbird get high (funny-rare outtakes).mp3" that was probably on your computer at one point if you ever had Napster installed back in the day. The rest of his set is, well, I honestly don't know because I couldn't stand to watch it for more than a minute or so. Check it out if you just swallowed some poison and you need to induce vomiting, or if you're looking for a good reason to swallow some poison. And yes, the video quality really really sucks, but somehow I think we're better off with it that way.
Are you concerned that you may be a character trapped in a Tom Waits song? Be smart and learn the warning signs before it's too late. Also, it's too late. It has always been too late.
I'm haunted by a recurring vision of a skeleton flipping me off. To avoid seeing this terrifying image in bumper sticker form, I pay someone with a blank bumper to drive in front of me at all times.
