I'm not exactly sure what's going on in today's update. I haven't even seen Star Trek in years. But it gave me an excuse to watch that episode again on YouTube, so I guess every nerdy article comes with a nerdy silver lining.

• Blogs I Like

Blogs are useless and not worth reading. Except some of them are. Here are two I really like:

• Reading Left Behind - This is a blog that takes what could be a overplayed idea and turns it into something far more interesting. The writer is reading Left Behind and commenting on it, a few pages at a time. While he does make fun of the writing, he always brings in an interesting point that goes way beyond "Look how dumb this book is." It also is written by a liberal Christian so it doesn't have the kind of condescending atheist tone you might expect from something like this. Start at the bottom to go from the beginning.
• The Hater - She makes fun of shit and she's funny. Um, that's pretty much it.

• Happy Anniversary Di

We've been together six years today. That's about 30% of my life. Whoa.

• I'm Going To Cambodia

And you can't come. I'll be gone for two weeks and it should be really fun. The trip there is over 24 hours including a 13 hour layover in Korea. That should be less fun.

I'm hoping to get my next article ready before I leave, but if by chance I don't...well, see you in the new year.
