Zack: Combat in FATAL is a rabbit hole of various nested tables and hit locations and percentages. My personal favorite damage chart, for head stabbing, includes a roll to determine which hemisphere of the brain is struck.
Steve: Since this game is so realistic I wonder if Byron whipped up the schizophrenia rule after reading detailed statistics on the mental illnesses of people stabbed in the brain.
